Alaska is your angling dream come true...heart stopping runs of king salmon... iridescent grayling finning through clear streams...ancient rainbows the length of your arm... barn-door sized halibut...all packaged in the most spectacular setting on earth.
The Homer Spit is the jumping off point for boating expeditions into Kachemak Bay for Tanner and Dungeness crab, hardshell clams and trips for halibut and bottomfish. Charter boats are available - half-day, day-long, overnight and longer trips are. Just ask for recommendations for many of the highly experienced charters in our immediate area.
Local knowledge is one of the best ways to assure yourself of a successful fishing trip in Alaska . By using a charter or guide service, you are likely to have a more productive sport fishing trip.
Remember to bring your catch back to your outdoor barbecue!
